Life hates me

I don't think I ever liked or appreciated anyone who told me that they hated life. To hate life means that I do not appreciate anything about it, and that life has nothing I like to offer me.

I certainly don't hate life. What if, however, I reverse that phrase, and instead of saying 'I hate life' I say 'life hates me'. What does that imply?

It means that regardless of how much I have tried to love life, it has never loved me back. I have tried in vain but achieved nothing because I have nothing it wants.

For some reason I've started to recall many of the Helghan quotes from my countless hours playing Killzone. I found them hilarious, especially the situation where something blows up, and after 5 seconds some random lagging Helghan soldier out of nowhere just goes 'SCATTER, GRENADE!'. I haven't played the game for about an year, so my memory is rather hazy. Regardless, here's the one's I do remember, and I'll keep adding as I remember more.
